Hymn Sings
First Presbyterian Church hosts two annual hymn sings during the year. The music department of First Presbyterian Church and musical guests from other churches and groups gather to perform in our sanctuary in celebration of God’s work and to support the Soup Kitchen of Community Cooperative. Canned goods and a voluntary cash donation are received at the events.
February
The Annual Mrs. Edison’s Hymn Sing is held during the Edison Festival of Light in honor of Mrs. Mina Edison.
December
The annual Christmas Carol Sing is also held in our sanctuary to help celebrate the season and to assist those less fortunate in our community.
